Auto racing, bull fighting and mountain climbing are the only real sports; all others are games.

Welcome to One F1 Race statistical comparison of all time involved drivers’ results. I did not want to create just another boring statistical overview here. I built the algorithm up to transfer race results which have reflected every sportsman’s talent and his skills to the appropriate numbers. I’ve sorted these results by 29 categories and set the ladder as the average of their all those categories’ standings. This is my One Formula One Race.
I’ve been Formula 1 fanatic and everything began in late seventies [previous century] when I discovered the world of this kind of motor racing by impressively coloured calendar at the office of gardener on our street. I was hit by car in sharp red and told that it was our almost local hero, Niki LAUDA. From this moment I’ve also been The Tifoso and nothing can change it.
As little boy I was initially impressed by colours. I drew formulas as I knew them from this calendar. My school notebooks were full of pricing horses and tobacco logos which I knew from pictures.
I began to watch races as well. Our black and white TV set inhibited my art feelings, but I found something new there, passion for racing.
My grandfather commented every Grand Prix and compared drivers with his pre-war favorite Louis CHIRON. I did not understand why he lived in past, but I really liked it. Today I know; I’ve also lived a big part of my Formula One life there.
From the beginning I knew that the fundamental question had to come. Who is the best?
Entire my life I’ve been obsessed by numbers, I count everything countable. I love to read and understand numbers.
In 2012 I decided to combine these two my passions; my wife calls them obsessions. I have walked backwards through the history and collected the data from every Grand Prix. Some years have been still missing, but I work on them.
I can not say that I found the most precious and scientific way how to answer the basic mentioned question. My friend told me that for sure one of these published two dozen sportsmen has been the best of all. This comment has satisfied me; all of us have our own hero in this sport and he needs not match my numbers.
This is ongoing Race here. There are no winners or losers. All these currently 734 sportsmen [in my database] have been still racing to entertain and show us their bests.
